Quote of the day

I don’t believe in the “is-ought fallacy”. Objective shouldness simply doesn’t exist, whether derived from an “is” or not.

By all means lay out your case and then conclude by saying "Problem X would be solved if we did Y" but don't kick off with some crap like "No child should live in poverty" when all that statement means is "I think it would be nice if no child lived in poverty" and it's hard to disagree with that.
